old style but beautiful

location and food. staff is also kind.

a bit outdated in the service of what you expect from this kind of hotel. minibar in the room is very poor (no snacks of any kind)and the room don't even have a kettle or coffee machine. the breakfast also is not so wow in term of choice, but the quality of the food is good.

Beautiful location

Beautiful, directly on the Lago Maggiore, nice for swimming in the lake or even in the indoor pool.

Breakfast was okey but had some air for improving

Wonderful

Fabulous Hotel, on the lake front with direct access. We stayed in the annexe apartments, very recently refurbed. Very high standard for a 4 star hotel.

Location, the hotel itself is a great location, Lake front, but the closest town Pallanza is not so nice, looks like it has seen better days.

Wonderful classic hotel, great location on the lake. Bliss to be lying in the sun in the garden and then have a quick refreshing dip into the lake or the hotel pool.

Real fast was outstanding. Loved the view over the lake early in the morning. Rooms were comfortable and it was quiet. Loved our balcony.

Great staff, wonderful location, building is dated.

A very traditional hotel with super friendly staff and a wonderful location, does not get much better, on the lake with large well kept grounds.

The hotel is a bit dates in all aspects, everything feels old, needs a paint job, beds are very small, it is no longer charming old but needs an update old.

The garden, access to the lake, views were outstanding.

Options for lunch and dinner were limited if you did not use the expensive restaurant. The bar menu could have had more choice. We had a road side view which was significantly less good than lake side and this should have been reflected in the price.

The location is great and the wellness area a dream. Also the bar is nice . The staff is extremely kind and helpful everywhere from reception, to the pool, fitness area , restaurant , bar .

The rooms are really in need for renovation . Is a big discrepancy between the room standards and the rest of what the hotel has to offer .

Nice view but basic facilities.

Great location, view and food.

For a 5 star hotel we were expecting a bit more comfort in the room. The spa was very basic, with an indoor pool and sauna. We were getting married in the afternoon the day of our check in, so we kindly asked, a long time in advance, if we could do an early check in but they were very firm on the 3pm rule. So we had to pay an extra night just to arrive 3 hours prior to check in...Definitely over-priced for what it offers.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. You cannot get a better view.

Wonderful

Old and romantic hotel at the lakefront. Although the hotel is old it is very clean and well maitained. Staff was extremely helpful and all units functioned well: reception, restaurant, spa It is just 1h drive from Malpensa airport and is certainly super destination for summer brake or any celebration. Looking forward to be there again ;)

We had amazing stay, thank you! I really want to come back!

We are very pleased with our stay at this hotel! The room was very spacious with a good view from the window, although not on the lake. Incredibly nice staff to help with everything - especially the hotel manager Maria Angela - an amazing woman who took time for each guest, creating an atmosphere of comfort and exclusivity of the place, as well as a sense of value for each of the guests. The hotel itself is a pearl of architecture and neoclassical style right on the lake and its own beach. Despite the fact that it is an old historical building, the hotel is in very good condition and with all amenities, including swimming pool, sauna and spa. It has convenient location - close to the city center, but at the same time a little secluded - so not noisy and calm. Amazingly delicious restaurant with rich and varied breakfast with a lake view.
